The pain you wouldn't want to have...

I was in pain last night. I was awaken from sleep by this intense pain starting from my right upper back radiating to my right side and abdomen. The pain was unexplainable. I can categorize it as something more painful than child birth. I couldn't find a position to lessen it. I was restless, moving from one position to the other.
I suspect it was renal colic. I took pain killer. The pain didn't subside until almost dawn. I just found myself falling asleep still clutching the bottle of hot water I used for hot compress.
If I have to explain how painful it was, I can tell you, I was hoping to die just to end the suffering. It was sooooo painful.
This morning I researched about renal colic and I found a blog talking about home remedies for renal colic. There's nothing to lose if I try it.
